What type of wax does Mama+Flame use?
We use 100% natural soy wax with a soybean oil base. This means all of our candles are:
free from hazardous substances
recommended for those who are sensitive to artificial products
easy soap and water clean up
Why a wooden wick?
Wooden wicks (featured in our 9oz candles) provide a tranquil crackling sound that sets a relaxing vibe when lit. They also burn stronger than regular wicks and aesthetically adds uniqueness to any decor.
What are the burn times for my candle?
4oz. - 20 - 25 hours
7oz - 40 - 45 hours
9oz - 50+ hours
How do I maintain the upkeep of my candle?
In order to “Stay LIT and Burn Responsibly”, follow these tips:
The first time you light your candle, be sure to allow it to create a full “melt pool”. This means that the top layer of wax has melted from end to end. This ensures a clean, even burn for the life of the candle.
After each burn, be sure to trim your wick ONLY if it appears longer than 1/4 inch long at the start of each burn.
Keep out of the reach of children
Never move or handle the candle while lit or while wax is still hot.
